I wish to once again draw the attention of all Itsekiri Graduates worldwides to the above subject matter.
It is pertinent to state that The National Association of Itsekiri Graduates (NAIG), in conjuction with Ijaw Graduates -KOMBOT, Ilaje Graduates (NAIG) have done everything humanly possible to avoid this issue getting to this stage but Chevron will not bulge.
We have written at least fifteen letters to all relevant Government bodies - namely the Presidency, Senate, Directorate of State Security (DSS), Nigerian Police, Army, Nigeria Navy, The Member representing Delta South Senatorial District - Sen. James Manager, Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency - Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, Member Representing Warri South- West in the Delta State House of Assembly - Hon. Daniel Mayuku, etc.
We have had at least over ten meetings with Chevron Nigeria Limited, DSS, NIGERIA NAVY, and Representatives of The Delta State Government.
Chevron has consistently maintained that the trainees are privileged to be with them.
They will only regularise when situation improves.
It should be noted that this training program is the only means through which graduates of Host communities to Chevron have been gainfully employed for over ten years.
The trainees are only employed as TECHNICIANS.
Recruitment into other departments in Chevron such has Human Resources, Engineering, Legal, Marine, etc. have been impossible within this period yet they employ other Nigerians that are not as qualified as our graduates into these departments.

We wish to state without fear or favour that the training Companies MRRS -PRIME ATLANTIC CEGELEC are perpetrating fraud using Nigerian Graduates as their pawns.
Note: - PRIME ALANTIC is the Nigerian partner while CEGELEC is the foreign partner.
Director of Prime Atlantic is AYO ODUCALO, while those of CEGELEC are (BOOGERS ALEXANDER (Technical Training Business Development Manager). (2) DON HARVEY (Training Manager) and (3) ALUN GALE (training Coordinator). They are all CEGELEC and they came together to form PACE. (Prime Atlantic CEGELEC)

These same people have vowed to keep the Trainees (process operators) on contract as against OPITO regulations so as to continually make money through them.
We have been reliably informed that this cartel in conjunction some members of Chevron management makes up to $350,000 (three hundred and fifty thousand dollars) monthly.
These same people after making our graduates sign a training allowance of about #160,000 went to pay them about #85,000 while in Ogere Training Centre.
Most annoying is the fact that Chevron Nigeria Limited has told us in the presence of other Community leaders that this training program which is the only route community graduates are employed will no longer continue.
It is on record that Chevron produces an average of 250,000 barres of crude oil from Agbami alone. Production cost at Agbami is less than $12 per barrel.
Okan, Dibi, Abiteye, Olero, etc gives Chevron over 300,000 barrels of crude a day. Production cost is less than $20 per barrel.

Though crude oil sell at an average of $45 per barrel, the exchange rate today makes it equivalent to it being sold at an average of about $100 during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
Chevron also produces at least 200,000,000 metric tonnes of gas each from Wells 5, 7, and 9 at Sonam in the Escravos blue Sea, and produces almost same from Okan.
Chevron also produces pure diesel, Naphtha, and Condensate from the EGTL Gas plant Escravos.
The EGTL Plan- trains 1 and 2 are working at over 90% capacity.

These products are sold at premium price and the price is very stable.
It should be noted that the Agbami FPSO, and the EGTL Plant are being operated by these trainees.
Chevron has no reason whatsoever not to regularise their employment.
Chevron is reputed to be the only Multinational known to have awarded fake OPITO Certificates to Trainees.
These are verifiable facts.
