At this point in itsekiri history, it is RISKY for the indigenous itsekiri people to keep living in isolation right in the midst of aggressive neighbours whose ultimate plan is to completely annihilate us. We must at this time start identifying our potential allies and friends. Our best bet is to identify with the people of "Oduduwa Republic" with who we share a common ancestry. The ijaws are banking on their population strength which has given them political advantage over us hence we cannot continue living in isolation when we have extended family we can identify with to secure our survival.
By building stronger ties with other members of the Oduduwa Republic, we will comfortably outnumber the ijaws both in population strength, numbers of house of Rep members, Senators and political big wigs. Who wouldnt want to associate with a oil rich small tribe?..they have nothing to lose but everything to gain..ITSEKIRI THINK!.
There are several groups online and live meetings going on of same to gather the constituent tribes of the Oduduwa republic together. We all can start taking advantage of such groups and use such platforms for our agitation...i am already a member of tow of such groups.
