The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli has admonished Youth Presidents in Delta State and other parts of Niger Delta not to pay lip service to peace, saying truth is vitally important for peaceful co-existence and everyone should work towards genuine peace building.
The Warri Monarch handed down the advice Monday January 4, 2016 at his Palace in Warri, Delta State when he played host to youth Presidents of Ijaw, Urhobo, Isoko, Ndokwa and Itsekiri ethnic Nationalities.
While blaming politics for the disharmony that occasionally occurs among ethnic groups in Delta State, the Olu advised Youth Presidents in Delta State to communicate more among themselves to erase mistrust and disharmony.
