Itsekiri Youth Forum Abuja

Itsekiri youth Forum Abuja (IYFA) established in 2015, with the Aim of “Unifying the younger Itsekiri generations”
The initiative was budded under the umbrella of Iwere Descendants of Abuja to integrate protect and promote the itsekiri tradition .
The group, Iwere Descendants of Abuja, metamorphosed into Itsekiri Peoples’ Congress and eventually, Itsekiri  Forum Abuja (IFA) & Itsekiri Youth forum which is a non-political, socio-cultural organization, with broader objectives and with a youthful proactive vision  and mission statements as it’s beacon light.
The Itsekiri youths forum was initiated by Lori Tosan ,Tsegbemi  Lori, Ola Saliu, & The Ede’s descendants of ogbugbu under the umbrella of the (Itsekiri Forum Abuja IFA ) strategically created to foster unity among young Itsekiri resident in Abuja and future generations

• IYFA is vested with the aim of promoting unity  Itsekiri youth living in Abuja and it environs through social integration programs for the purpose of inter marriage, protecting ,projecting the interest and welfare of its members and the interest/objective of the Itsekiri nation on the principle of freedom, equity and justice.

MISSION

•Create opportunities for employable IYFM members

•Promote the Itsekiri culture.

•Create an information data bank for employable members

•Provide assistance to members

•Create Networking opportunities 

GOALS

•Members will be Itsekiri cultural ambassadors & role models championing a noble course

•Membership will be open to Abuja residents only

•Members Will also be expected to make some personal sacrifices that will benefit themselves and help to champion the Itsekiri course as well as to enhance and articulate the promotion of education and inter-association solidarity in Warri Kingdom
